SilverMiner's is a group effort of several gaming executives whose business's had been sold in the last two years. They decided to look for a new gaming opportunity and thought there was no better place than Las Vegas. They didn't have a tavern/restaurant in their initial business plan but decided they needed a business starting point in Nevada. So, when a former PT'S location came up for sale, they decided to get into that side of the business as an initial step.

The facility needed financial muscle and attitudinal grit, and "we just jumped in the water". The project has required the best and most we could do. Thus, we are giving that degree of determination and energy. Because we are essentially seeking "silver" in this place, we decided the project was similar to a mining operation and thus, the name seemed appropriate. Might be lucky enough to get your mouth on a "miner burger", most prospectors haven't eaten one since the halcyon days of Virginia City and Ponderosa.
